a date to remember - juliana and joseph's wedding on 2/22/2022

I met Juliana and Joseph in the Fall of 2021, as they were looking for an intimate, elegant venue for their small wedding. They already knew that they wanted a small guest list, and they knew they wanted a particular date - 2/22/2022! As luck would have it, we had the date available, and following their tour and consultation, I heard from Juliana within a few days that they wanted to confirm their booking date.

Hearing a bit of their story during the wedding ceremony made this day a lot sweeter. Juliana and Joseph met during high school, and she was smitten, but as sometimes happens, they drifted apart, and for a few years, did not see each other. When they met again a few years later, they realized that there was something special between them, and they were inseparable after that.

To see his reaction to Juliana, at their "first look" was so touching, as tears ran down his face; it showed just how much their love had survived, and how happy he was to be marrying his best friend! Their young daughter was flower girl, and during their first dance, circled them blowing bubbles during the entire dance.

Joseph and Juliana were looking for an elegant, intimate location for their celebration, and they knew that those they wanted to invite were a special few. It was so heart-warming to witness their love for each other and their little children, and those that had stood by them all these years.

Tiny weddings at The Loft of Elements Preserved can be curated to your liking, as our showroom is filled with specialty rentals, collected for many years, each having a story of its own. But with each special event, we weave your story into these pieces!

Juliana and Joseph chose the Luxury 6 hour wedding package, which allowed them to choose their favorites from our rental inventory, all included in their package. They chose brass candleholders and mercury glass for the tables, gauze runners were draped down each of the farm tables, our whiskey barrel bar, signage in the entryway with their special message, and our copper arbor backdrop, while we lined the aisle with clear cylinders and pillar candles, and the vintage sideboard was styled with our white pedestal cake plates!
