What's so special about a micro-wedding?
A lot, we say! Consider that you don't have to do any of the planning, organizing, search for vendors, choose decor or set up and style the space. And, we're not the typical intimate event venue, either, as every one of our clients enjoy the use of our farm tables and chairs! Found in many upscale and larger event venues, these items, along with numerous in-house furniture pieces for your use, set The Loft of Elements Preserved apart from many small venues in the Chicago market.
How does it work?
Celebrate your special day with 25 of your closest family and friends, during a 2 hour event, including one of Chicago's finest photographers to capture your ceremony and reception with 2 hours photography time, an officiant to perform your ceremony, beautiful flowers for you and your partner along with a backdrop of your choice, from our collection, also decorated with fresh flowers. Have I captured your attention yet!
Along with these talented vendors, we also include charcuterie to enjoy while couples and family photos are taking place, a champagne toast for your guests, and wedding cake and desserts for 25! And, to enjoy these tasty treats in style, we also include fine vintage china.
The farm tables are decorated with fresh greens and candles before your arrival! What's left? Really nothing except to plan your wedding attire, make sure your guests know when and where to meet, your rings, and your vows! It's pretty simple; we've done the work for you, so you can enjoy your micro wedding to the fullest!
Client comments:
This past May, when we were again allowed to host events, we were honored to host Alex and Fernanda's wedding. After a tour, Alex and Fernanda were excited to move forward. We followed their booking with a consult for a wedding cake tasting, and floral choices. Alex and Fernanda had their own officiant chosen, but spent time chatting with the photographer to be sure she captured their most important moments with family and friends.
I want to share a little information that Fernanda sent me, in regards to their experience.
"My husband and I were looking for a last minute space to host our civil union after we found out the courts were not letting family members attend due to covid. I reached out to Beth explaining our situation and she quickly put together a package that was perfect for us. The event went perfectly and Beth made sure everything ran smoothly. Our families were blown away by the space!"
With COVID causing many couples to pivot in their wedding plans for 2020, and 2021, more guests experienced weddings in an intimate way, and continue to reach out because they too desire an intimate, but luxury wedding. With fewer guests, your budget is extended to add in some exquisite details to your day. Remember, a small wedding does not mean it must lack in details, in fact, the very opposite is true. You now have the opportunity to add in details you may not have funds for, with a larger wedding. Think about hiring a private chef to complete your dining experience! Add in all the vintage china, flatware, stemware and napkins for a striking table! Hire a private bartender and provide your guests with your favorite in craft cocktails. Some couples choose a tiny wedding because that's exactly what they want; intimate, filled with details, and extra memorable for everyone!
Choose the best package for your big day!
Our 2022 wedding packages and pricing are found on our website Here. Reach out to schedule your consultation and tour! We promise your day will be beautiful, curated to your vision, and enjoyed by your very closest family and friends! If a Micro-Wedding is too short in length, there are numerous options available to review, both 6 hours and full day weddings!
We hope you'll enjoy this review of Alex and Fernanda's wedding day!
