The term Pop-Up is thrown around a lot these days, and we all know that it’s a creative way to invite a special day of shop sales, a one-day vintage market, or just about any event that is for a limited time, in a unique space.
We’ve given a lot of thought and planning to this idea for “elopement” or “pop-up” weddings, and we’re ready to become The Fox Valley and Chicago northwest suburban area’s Most Beautiful Choice for a Pop-Up Wedding!
If you’re looking for an elegantly-styled elopement wedding, with up to 40 of your closest friends and family, at a fraction of the cost of a full-day wedding, a Pop-Up wedding may be for you!
Here’s what it’s all about! A pop-up, or elopement wedding is a ninety-minute celebration, designed and styled completely by Elements Preserved, and held at The Loft of Elements Preserved, our urban, vintage-styled Loft Venue, in Elgin, IL. All of the details are taken care of, from start to finish, without the stress of you having to plan a thing! We include all the details that would be important to you, for a fraction of the typical price of a full-scale wedding.
We plan to offer Pop-Up Weddings three to four times a year, with up to three weddings in one day. With the help of some of our favorite vendors, no detail will be left undone! Elements Preserved will choose the date, the times, the theme and décor from our vast inventory, styled completely by our team, and you simply need to answer a few questions on our Questionnaire, send out your invitations, pick out your wedding day clothes, and show up with your closest friends/family ready to get married.
What’s Included in a Pop-Up Wedding at The Loft of Elements Preserved?
Invitations to share, announcing your wedding day
A professional Officiant to perform your ceremony, which may be personalized to your wedding day wishes
A fresh-floral bouquet and boutonniere
Floral design accenting a beautiful backdrop we’ve selected from our inventory
Styling throughout our elegant venue, The Loft of Elements Preserved, using pieces from our vintage and specialty rentals
A professional photographer who will capture all the details of your wedding day, during the ninety-minute event
A grazing table, complete with the tastiest of appetizers
A drink station for your guests to enjoy while photos are being taken
A sweets table, complete with a couple’s cake, and desserts for your guests from a local bakery
Opportunity to invite up to 40 of your nearest and dearest
How Does This Work?
Elements Preserved chooses a date, a theme/design, and the vendors that will be part of the creation of your wedding day. Three specific times will be available for you to choose from for your ninety-minute event, and the vendors will remain the same for each wedding that day.
Email us with the date that you’re interested in; we’ll check availability, and book a consultation for you to come chat with us! We know you’ll want to visit our beautiful Venue, and you’ll likely have a few more questions. A pop-up wedding isn’t for everyone, but we think you’ll be more than thrilled with what we have in mind for you. Choose a time from the following slots: 12 noon, 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. We’ll provide you with a Rental Agreement, as we do with all of our Inventory and Event Rentals, and your 50% down payment and completed Rental Agreement will be required in order to hold your time slot. Your remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. Then, you’ll have time to choose your wedding day outfits, and pick up your Marriage License.
Then What Do We Do?
We’ll email you a Questionnaire to take care of the minor details like the flavor of your cake, the choice of your invitation design, and information so that your Officiant can be in touch with you to start planning your ceremony. Elements Preserved will send you a detailed itinerary two weeks prior to your wedding, including your arrival time, ceremony time, and specific details you’ll want to share with your guests for the 90 minute ceremony and reception. It will be important that all your guests understand the arrival and end times, in order that we accommodate the next wedding scheduled for that day.
On Your Pop-Up Wedding Day
You and your guests arrive at the designated time and witness your wedding ceremony, followed by photos, tasty bites and desserts, and drinks. Following your wedding, you may wish to celebrate together at a local restaurant, at one of the nearby parks along the Fox River, or head out on your honeymoon.
What Do You Think? Is a Pop-Up Wedding Right For You?
We know that for some, having all of your family’s attendance at your wedding is a must, and 150 to 200 people will be invited, or more! We also know that there are couples who really don’t want to have a large wedding, and there’s no better way to enjoy your wedding day than to be stress-free from all the planning, the additional cost, meanwhile being able to focus your attention on yourselves and your very closest friends and family.
The Loft of Elements Preserved has hosted some of the most intimate and loving weddings since we’ve been in this business, and we must say, they’re by far our favorites! Whether you’re saving for a house or a honeymoon, you still deserve a beautiful day just like any other couple taking that important step of marriage, and your gorgeously styled wedding at The Loft of Elements Preserved will be just that.
A pop-up wedding is ideal for the couples who want a vow renewal, a micro-wedding or elopement, or those that are comfortable with someone else doing all the planning! Trust us; we’ve worked with every vendor we’ve carefully chosen, and together we’ll create a magical day for you!
