As you begin searching for ideas for your baby boy shower, we're sharing inspiration for adding blue touches to your baby's celebration. Sarah chose to include blue accents throughout the decor; see some of her inspiring ideas below, used for her September, 2024 baby shower.
We were so thrilled to hear Sarah was anxiously awaiting a new baby, just a couple of years after she celebrated her beautiful bridal shower at The Loft of Elements Preserved! Sarah's sister and mother designed and planned her shower, and every detail was accented with a beautiful "baby" blue color!

Sarah chose to add a seating area for gift opening from our vast collection of rentals, and added a pair of Louie Chairs, our Louis XV style armchairs in a beautiful neutral ivory, centered in front of our vintage mantel, which was decorated with photo frames and a vase of flowers! Our Cornflower Blue rug added just the right touch of blue to the lounge, while Sarah's family included blue vases and accents to complete the vignette, and one more accent in blue!

Sarah requested to use our vintage Wakefield wicker buggy, and it was filled with armloads of fresh hydrangea in ivory and blue! Such a pretty statement piece! And the best of all was a custom blue throw that Sarah's mom had made with their last name embroidered on it!

The family rented chargers and flatware from Dish and Decor Vintage Rental, along with blue goblets for lunch service, while they used disposable plates, and blue cloth napkins!

Our glass candleholders were added to their package, and they were filled with light blue taper candles, adding the sweetest pop of blue to the tables. Finishing out the table design, Sarah's sister brought bud vases filled with white roses!
Desserts included cake pops and cookies from The Cookie Room, while miniature cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes were placed on beautiful platters. Other sweets were available from Tom's Farm Market! The clients catered a delicious meal for guests, from Tasty Catering.
Whether you choose to bring decor from home, or add on to your package with our large array of decor pieces, every event takes on a life of its' own, and is unique and beautiful in its' own way.
Sarah mentioned that as soon as she knew she was pregnant, she told her mom that she wanted her shower to be at The Loft! We love to see our couples return for new chapters and adventures in their lives! And, when all the guests arrived with outfits in shades of blue, that was the perfect final touch to the Welcome Baby Boy Chapter!
We say it often, but the truth is, you will be hard-pressed to find an intimate venue in the suburbs, with all of the amenities that are included, along with the beautiful ambiance found within The Loft of Elements Preserved. The natural light beams through the expansive floor to ceiling windows, helping to create beautiful photo memories! The classic foundation pieces we include provide you with beautiful display areas, whether it's gifts, favors, photos, food or drinks, it's feels like "home," without having the stress of planning a big event at home!
