The tiniest elopement wedding at The Loft of Elements Preserved

Updated: May 11, 2021

Bride and Groom with a handful of family gather for ceremony

We love weddings, and working with our couples leading up to their wedding day is so exciting! The guest list changes slightly, and we add or take a few chairs away, but this wedding was a first!

When Annie contacted me about their wishes to have their elopement wedding at The Loft of Elements Preserved, they were initially only having their officiant present for a very sweet ceremony. However, shortly after they booked the date, Ryan called to tell me that he had a surprise for Annie, and that both her parents (from Miami), and his, would be attending! So, their wedding party would be a total of 8!

Working with Annie to carry out her wishes for a simple, Old Hollywood theme using black and deep burgundy colors accented with gold, we styled our vintage mantel with brass candleholders filled with the tapers in those colors.

I contacted one of my favorite florists, Janet Gallagher, of Designs By Janet to see her availability for simple mantel florals, and bouquet, with Annie's request for Anemones, her all-time favorite flower. We must say, the bouquet was simply stunning, and Annie was so pleased with it! Janet also brought flowers to decorate the mini-cake, made by Delish Cakes, which also carried out the Old Hollywood theme with black and gold accents!

Annie and Ryan chose Nicole, owner of The Still Life Photography, for their wedding photos. Nicole captured the essence of this very romantic, and intimate wedding. Their immediate family gathered to witness their vows and celebrate afterwards with a cheeseboard and desserts before heading out to a celebration dinner, and we have to say this was the sweetest and tiniest elopement wedding we've hosted! Congratulations to Annie and Ryan, as they await their next big celebration, with the arrival of their tiny baby!
