June was a busy month for us, and along with several baby and bridal showers, we had the honor of hosting Tera and Shawn's intimate wedding at The Loft of Elements Preserved, our intimate Venue in Elgin, IL. Small weddings are our favorites; when we get to help create a beautiful event for our couples, and their very closest family and friends, it's even more special. The light and airy loft was filled with accents in gold and brass, while the color scheme remained white and off-white.
Tera and Shawn visited The Loft a few months before their tentative date, and after our tour and brief consult, I heard back from Tera quickly that they were in love with the venue! After consulting with a few photographers and determining available dates, they settled on their June date, and within three months, it was wedding day!
Tera wanted her floral decor to be mainly "greens", and after deciding upon renting our vintage mantel as their ceremony backdrop, I suggested a climbing wall of greens, which Tera loved. It was simple and elegant, and perfect for the look she wanted.
Our vintage ivory settee and matching chair provided the perfect place for wedding photos for the bride and groom and their families.
Tera chose to add our gold geometric candle holders and brass taper candle holders to each of our farm tables. The beautiful wedding florals were created by Jordan, owner at *JCEden.
Plated dinners were provided by My Chef Catering, and everyone loved the choices available. While photos were taken during cocktail hour, numerous appetizers were provided for guests enjoyment. My Chef Catering staff provided on-site service throughout the event!
